Welcome to East West Shabu Shabu, a unique, healthy, dining experience where the customer is the chef!
At East West Shabu Shabu, we provide you with your own Japanese hot pot of kelp-broth, thinly sliced meat, an assortment of freshly harvested vegetables, fresh noodles, and dipping sauces. Cook at your own pace by submerging the food into the boiling water and swishing it back and forth several times. (Shabu-shabu translates to swish-swish.) Our meat selection is a wide variety that includes our perfectly marbled Prime Rib-Eye and Kobe Beef, Free-Range Chicken, Lamb, Seafood, etc. Our vegetables are handpicked every morning from a fresh harvest. Each meal comes with two dipping sauces: a pungent Ponzu sauce and a savory, sesame-based Goma sauce. We provide plenty of minced Garlic, Daikon Radish, and sliced Green Onions to enhance your meal together with our home-made soup base.
Our great ambiance and friendly staff makes East West Shabu Shabu an excellent place for the family, cou

Did not suit my taste - I'm used to flavoured broths and particular sauces but apparently, the traditional japanese way to boil meat in is plain water, which is what they did here. Meal was a little bland for me. Portion size is not bad but could be a little bigger.

We had lunch there with a large group of friends. With a large group we were able to try a lot of things on the menu. Everything was fresh and tasty.

Pretty reasonable shabu shabu place for the area. My coworker alternate between here and Shabu Shabu Bar in Tustin, CA. This place is definitely not as crowded during the lunch how but I also feel that the quality of meat can be better. That said, the service has always been great and the dishes are very fresh.
